Northeast Sales Manager–Programmatic Platform Sales

Job Description

In this role, you will provide strategic direction and support for the Simpli.fi Northeast sales team. The primary key performance indicator is growing Simpl.fi revenue through new client acquisition, client retention and strategic channel partner relationship management. You will lead meetings on your own, accompany sales reps, and/or help educate and prepare channel partner sales organizations for success with our platform. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Be a trusted subject matter expert on Simpli.fi technology and range of capabilities and service levels we support
  • Maintain and grow relationships with publishers, ad networks agencies, trading desks, and brands
  • Provide education, support and strategic direction of sales team
  • Hit quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Understand & articulate our differences in a constantly changing competitive landscape
  • Work with department leaders outside of sales to facilitate growth and improvement of Simpli.fi products and services
  • Team expense budget management
  • Participate in regional strategic marketing events and trade shows
  • In market talent recruitment
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in data driven marketing with proven track record of success
  • Minimum 2 years of sales leader experience managing quota carrying team members
  • Bachelor degree or higher from accredited university
  • Must be willing to work in New York, NY. Office in SOHO – No relocation
  • Experience with Salesforce.com pipeline management
  • Must be willing submit to a background investigation including a credit check
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older
Desired Characteristics
  • Experience with channel revenue growth in newspaper, radio, TV broadcasting organizations
  • Experience with agencies, agency trading desks and direct brand marketing sales
  • A comprehensive understanding of RTB & programmatic technology
